motivationEpisode submitted by Weirdoid on Thu Sep 1 18:02:42 2011 Return to Parent Episode I have trouble getting motivation for my stories too, and everything else as well. People adding to my stories is nice but doesn't always help. Especially since some people see it as their duty to make all non female TG possibilities into girls by default. People say "if you cannot find anything written to your tastes write it youself. You'd enjoy it and people with your tastes will crawl out of the woodwork." Sadly neither is true. My own writing does nothing for me. I find it very hard to write scenes I enjoy. And it doesn't encourage others at all. Writing my fantasies is very hard (in part as despite fitting a theme they change alot within it). It's much easier to put my depression over identity issues and feeling alone into print but that discourages people as it is rare. Only once did I do a work to ensure my fantasies got printed as is, going to the computer whenever I had one, and that was a FtM story called Himbo on fictionmania. About a artificially made man with a womans mind. (I wanted it to be an actual FtM change at first, but couldn't make fantasies mesh with a "Oh my god, this new body is so strange/horrible" angst fest. Oddly enough once I strung enough sexual fantasies and desires to act girly as a man together a strange thing happened and a story developed. But in general motivation to write is difficult for me. Replies to my branches do help at times but if they go wrong are just as likely to show me how alone I am. | |
