Okay. I have a few ways to fix this.

To be sure, frankly I think you're being a bit too much of a pacifist - One of the two times she touched her sword was to defend someone from being killed. The other was already "accounted for" and "punished", and she didn't even point it at anyone.

You can even think she's a bit of a fanatic/too violent/too hot-tempered/has some specific berserk buttons by nature, but this doesn't explain something in this chapter. Namely: It would be a bit incoherent for the same person who was on about "not taking up the roles of your new forms" when talking to mr. Turtle to be that quick about taking up the role of hers. I have ideas to explain her behavior in that one "chapter" by her "angel" mind interfering (as you yourself suggested in it) or by the whole thing with Cass "imposing roles". Think either can be done? Which do you prefer as an explanation?
