Sometimes I say things not to be wise or true, but simply because the words sing so well together. I meditated with my Mom for the second time today. We're supposed to do it for 30 min. every day. It's wonderful! But hard. Mama gets all weird sometimes, aggressively mystical is the best I can describe it, and nothing's more mystical to her than meditation. Ahm... sa. Those words to me mean the center rising and falling, the cycle of relaxation, breathing and oxygenation, but nothing more. Forgive me for saying, but giving that dumb phrase any actual meaning or symbolism is just stupid. It's like taking a hammer.. oo! Me & a friend worked this out the other day:
