It's in the way that she walks.Episode submitted by anon on Tue Aug 5 11:35:46 2003 Return to Parent Episode With no choice now and not wanting to risk further wishing mishaps, I put the stone back in the box, threw it into my school bag and finished dressing. My shoes, socks and shirts were all OK, and I put on a long coat to try and cover my ass, even though the weather was getting warmer. "Are you OK?" Karyn asked as I came out of my room. "Fine, just another little wish that could have worked out better." I said, grumbling and hoping that no one would notice my altered attire. Karyn looked at me puzzled as I headed out the door, "I thought you weren't going to risk making another wish until we did a little research." Closing the door behind us, I just ignored her question, and then we started the short walk to school, already a few minutes late. I guess because she felt a bit guilty, Karyn walked a bit behind me, and remained silent for a while. Just as we were over half way there, Karyn spoke up, "You know you're walking a bit funny there Jon." I stopped, "What?" "Your walk. You're swaying your hips and you've got a very feminine gait." I hadn't noticed, "Hey are they new pants?" I looked angrily at Karyn and tried to pretend she was wrong about my walk, and quickly took a few steps further down the path, before I became aware of it. I was swinging my hips. "Shit." I swore, then walked around in a circle. Yep, definitely more movement than normal. Most likely a combination of my new curvature combined with form fitting clothing. I tried to suppress the motion, but it just made Karyn laugh. As we continued to walk to school, with Karyn trying to hold back her grin, I practiced loosing the walking style I seemed to have adopted. Through various silly walks and odd steps, I managed to adopt a long stride that came closest to something more masculine. It was humorous, but it would have to do, hopefully I could sit or stand still for most of the day. School Daze At school | |
