Mrs. Stevenson walked into the room and didn't seem the least upset at how Jon was dressed. She did pause for a moment when she saw Karyn sitting there. "I see you've shared you little secret with Karyn. That's good. Now you have someone your own age to talk to about things. Do I smell perfume? You are getting adventurous. And some makeup too?. If you want hun, I'll show you how to apply it for the best effect after dinner tonight." She went to the closet and hung up her jacket. On the way out of the room she called back, "Remember the pact we made. You can borrow anything of mine you like, but you have to wash it before you put it back."
