Jon asked as she left the room, but Karyn didn't reply. She shut the door behind her and sighed. With this stone, she could do anything she wanted! So long as she didn't make wishes in front of other people, there was no way she could be caught! She felt a little guilty, because the rock belonged to Jon and not her, but in truth it was too much for him! He doesn't have the guts to use the stone and Karyn knew it. With Jon in charge, the rock would be under lock and key within a week. Talk about a wasted opportunity! "I wish," she said quietly, "that Jon would give this wishing rock to me as a gift." It's done then, she thought. Then the image of a green-skinned Jon in a pink tutu flashed in her mind. His dress sense and skin colour would return to normal in about an hour, at least. She giggled at the thought of his skinny legs in those pink tights and wondered if she should wish for something else for Jon before she went back in to see him, just for fun..... Oh go on, one more wish then... | |
