She thought yo were a girlEpisode submitted by Gerri on Wed Jan 26 17:50:13 2005 Return to Parent Episode In the car, Robin’s mom turned to Robin and said. “She thought you were a girl.” “I noticed.” Robin said, not really sure why it didn’t upset him. “You don’t mind?” “Well…” Robin began. “I am not upset about it. I am not pleased either.” He quickly added. “It just didn’t seem to matter.” “Honey. I am proud of you. I think that you have grown up a bit today.” “Because I am willing to be accepted as a girl?” Robin asked. “No. Because you are willing to accept what you can’t change.” For the rest of the weekend, Robin didn’t feel so bad about having the breasts stuck on his chest. He wasn’t too happy when his mother had made him wear a bra (although he refused to admit, even to himself, that wearing the bra felt better than going braless).
