Look like a girlEpisode submitted by Gerri on Fri Jan 28 20:19:00 2005 Return to Parent Episode As he turned from the mirror, Robin said, “I wish while I am in the hospital that I looked more like a girl.” “I’ll take those for you Robin.” The nurse said, taking Robin’s smoke filled clothes. “I’ll put them into a bag for you to send home with your parents.” Once Robin got into his bed, Susan said, “You look better after cleaning up, Robin. You looked too boyish when you came in.” “Thank you, Susan.” Robin said, not knowing what else to say. “Your voice sounds a bit strange.” Susan said, “Must be all the smoke you breathed in.” “Must be.” Robin agreed, taking a throat lozenge. While Robin was a bit happy to have a deep voice, as it meant he was growing up, he didn’t want it to happen now. “I wish my voice wasn’t so deep.” Robin said in a quiet voice. “What did you say?” Susan asked. “Nothing.” Robin said as he put his lucky rock on the table between his and Susan’s bed. “What is that?” Susan asked. “My lucky rock.” Robin said, happy that his voice didn’t sound so ‘gravely’. “It is pretty.
