Looking at the stone that supposedly no longer housed the power that she now did house, she began to wonder something. "Hey, if I make the wish, how would I know if it's the stone granting it and not me?"

Jon would have blinked, but didn't even ruffle Karyn's collar. 'I... don't know? I guess we just need to know, so wish that you knew, that should work.'

"I thought you didn't know." Jon mentally snorted again and Karyn went on with a slight giggle, "But you're right. Okay. I wish I knew whether this stone still had any ability at all to grant wishes of any kind."

Suddenly... she knew.
