"Like, that's all? Wow, mom, that's kinda, y'know, small-time, isn't it?" "Jen!" Karyn hissed. "Quit complaining! She could have wished you into being a Stepford Daughter or something!" Jen sighed. "Yeah, you're right. Sorry, mom - I'll try to be neater and stuff from now on." "Well - good. OK then." "Uh, mom?" "Yes?" "Can I have the rock back now?" "Um, not yet.
