I should just shut up before I wish for something that really stinks." The worst, most acrid odor possible impinged on their nostrils and they both noticed a large skunk right on the kitchen table. They shooed the skunk out of the house. Then Jane told Karyn "I think maybe you'd better take this after all," and handed the stone to her friend. She got a container of cleanser out from under the sink and began to scrub off the table and any other surfaces that smelled. "That was close," said Karyn. "Too close. Uhh, I wish I was 16 again?" Karyn instantly deaged, since Jane had never actually said how old her close friend was supposed to be. But she knew she was still a single mother. How was she going to get out of this one?
