Now, just so I know, what exactly can -you- do?" Karyn grinned. "See this?" She held up a silver wand with a gold star on the end. "I can use this to channel the same elemental forces you can use, only I can fire off blasts of pure elemental energy, instead of using a sword." Jennifer frowned. "How come -I- have to use a sword?" "You picked that sheet," Karyn reminded her. "Besides, elemental blasts can't do certain things that your blade can do, like cut something or serve as a makeshift lever if needed. Plus, you'll notice that it's light enough to be comfortable for you to wield." "Fine," Jennifer said. "Now let's get going.
