Their Island Home!Episode submitted by Linda on Fri Jul 15 19:47:25 2005 Return to Parent Episode Suddenly the door opened and Karyn stood there. "Come on in. What's different then?" Janise looked around, everything was as she remembered it.... Karyn was still dressed in her colorful flowing dress that she wore while working down at the island tourist center, her beautiful black hair in it's cornrows. Janise could never get her hair like that, she did have the time or patience. She straightened her shoulder length hair, and to tell the truth, that was how the local boys seems to like it! Looking around the room, Janise tried to find something different, still their beautiful island out the window, her waitress uniform hung by the closet, Try as she did, she couldn't find any changes. "So tell me girl, what did you change?" Karyn broke in to a full bodied laugh, and as she cough her breath nad was about to speak, the door flung open. There stood her Mom, full bodied, and dark as the other island woman. " Hurry up their childe," she yelled in a heavy island accent, both your rides are here for work! Hurry , hurry, and Janise sweetheart, don't forget your uniform and heels this time! I don't want to have to run those down to the Sun Beach Lounge for you again! Damn girl, I do wish you got a job over at the tourist center like Karyn! " | |
