They were the very same clothes he'd been wearing when he first arrived at the beach. The instant he stepped into his pants, though, his body changed to that of a four-year old! There was no way he could walk -- or even stand up -- in those pants! Then, when he stapped out of them, he returned to normal size. Next Jon tried his swimsuit. This time he grew huge, like the incredible hulk: so huge that he instantly ripped the suit to shreds. "Let me guess," Jon wondered aloud. "If I try to put on regular pants, I shrink. But if I then tried to put on some little kids' pants, I'd burst out of them." "I don’t know for sure but I suspect you're right," Karyn replied. "This shouldn’t bother you though, right? You're the one who wanted to run around naked. I'm not comfortable like this, you know" "Well gosh, Karyn; you didn’t leave an out when you made this wish. I'm stuck naked for life!" "Maybe not," Karyn suggested. "Maybe you can wear things that aren't clothes." "Like what? A barrel? A garbage bag? I don’t think so. And anyway, putting those things on might qualify them as clothes. Now, give me the stone." "I don’t think so," Karyn replied. Goodbye Beach | |
