"Oh Jon, I'm sorry I woke you," said his mom. "I know it's late, but I was just gathering up your dirty clothes for one last load before I went to bed. Since you're up, though, do you have a minute?" "Uh, yeah, I guess," Jon mumbled. He was still half asleep. "Well, there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time, but the moment just never seemed right. But now, this moment, it's like, extra. It's kinda stolen from time; do you know what I mean?" "If you mean that normally we'd both be asleep at this moment, then yeah, I guess I know what you mean," Jon replied drowsily. "But so what?"
