He walked away, got into his police car and drove away. Karyn was happy to be out of that situation. She proceeded to open the car and take the evidence box out. Before leaving, she shut off the flashing emergency lights. She didn't want to attract any more attention. "Hey, when are we gonna get outta here?" asked the woman in the backseat who was wearing Karyn's clothes. "Just shut up, it won't be long." And they did just that. She went back into the store and handed the box to Jon. "What took so long?" he asked. "I had a run-in with someone. It's okay, there's no problem." "Good.
