He fell on the floor, in pain. Jon was unaware that Zoe, in her haste to get away, had wished out loud that Jon wouldn't be able catch up with her. Of course, she had no idea that the stone she held was a wishing stone, but it didn't matter. Her wish was granted anyway and a brick wall appeared in the entry doorway to Jon's house. He looked up, with watery eyes. "How the heck did that get there?" But the answer was obvious: Zoe wished it to be there. He had to find her before she made other bad wishes.
