He looked around at the group and then at Karyn with a strange expression on his face. "I wish that Karyn was my girlfriend and that she loved me." he said quickly. The rock glowed briefly and then faded. James looked up. Karyn, instead of looking at him with hate in her eyes, now looked at him lovingly. She moved across the floor and sat next to him. "Hi sweetheart," she said. "Well hi there," replied James. James looked across at the others who had looks of shock, surprise and, in Jon's case, envy on their faces. Karyn started rubbing James' thigh. "Is there somewhere we could go, honey?" she said. Jon stepped forward and grabbed the rock from James. "You idiot! I'll teach you - I wish that James was..."
