"Mrs. McMillan!" cried Sarah Menendez as she dashed to the phone to dial 911. While the phone rang at the other end, Sarah looked at her employer lying there on the floor and noticed that an odd stone was lying in the palm of her hand. Why was Mrs. McMillan holding a rock she wondered? Rays of sunlight coming through the living room window shone upon the rock just right at that moment. It looked so ordinary, yet ... there was something about it. Sarah put down the phone, kneeled down on the carpet and picked up the rock. she had a wicked idea all of a sudden. She spoke to herself in her native Spanish. "I wish Mrs. McMillan was the maid and this was my house." Mrs. McMillan the Maid Mrs. McMillan the Maid (corrected) | |
