He grabbed it, but noticed the number 3 carved into it. "What the hell? How did that get there?" he said out loud. He didn't know, so he made a wish to find out. "I wish to know why there's a number 3 on my stone." The stone glowed, and when the light dissipated, there was a number 2 carved into the stone. Jon suddenly knew what had happened. This wasn't his wishing stone, the one he got from his grandfather. It was a different stone. This stone only granted three wishes, and Jon had already wasted one. He only had two left! But someone else would have three wishes | |
