"I'm your mother, I suppose. Only because of magic. I just gave birth to you while bringing Emily back... god, that sounds so strange... and now you're my age. I don't know what your name should be... how about Jess?" "I like that name, Mom," said the boy. "That must be Emily... what's she doing?" "Jess, she's using the wishing stone to go back to our old life." "Nothing's going to happen to me, is it?" "I don't know," said Jon. "I heard that," said Emily. "Nothing will. I wish we were back to our old life, but Jess is still around." In an instant, everything was back to normal. They were in front of the computer, with the same picture that had been used to transform Jon. Jess looked around.
