It wasn't hard to find the rock, because Jon's mother had left it where she had found it--right near his porn collection where it was before. Only his porn collection had changed--he saw right on the top a Playgirl which had pictures of naked men. He didn't even check to see if the rest was like that or not.

Did the rock work that way, wondered Jon? If his-- her-- mother made a wish, she didn't hear it, so she should think it's normal... but that probably wouldn't happen until the change was over. "I wish I would keep my memories from before I started transforming today. Now I wish I knew what wish Mom made. Hmm, okay, I wish my transforming would stop." That last one should work, since the wish didn't say how much like Karyn she would be, so she could be only as much as she is now. Crotch, voice, hands, and feet were like Karyn, but at least she wouldn't change further.
