It had to be someone that usually got the short end of the stick. And no one else fit that description than Gladys Brewer, an overweight girl who was not very popular. She didn't have any friends and she got picked on often, mainly because of her weight. If anyone deserved three wishes, it was her. But Jon didn't know where she was.
