Maybe he could even fix Sarah and Carl... later, of course. "I wish that people think I'm a girl because I have a female cousin from out of town who looks just like me, and I made a bet with her that she couldn't pretend to be me, and she pretended to be me and got discovered." Which had its problems--for one thing, Jon forgot that the stone had a limited range and couldn't really make someone be from out of town--but might still work as a fix.... | |
