Which means that in order for Karyn's wish to have worked, someone had to have died. Which means there was nothing wrong with the story segment that I wrote. This particular branch started when Hikaru said "But since I must explain it, the stone doesn't change the past, it makes reality be like it would be if the past was changed. Wishing that there was a Jon who died a few minutes ago only creates a dead body and makes everyone think he used to be alive, because they remember a fake past. He never really was alive, so he isn't being murdered." He (she? I don't know what gender the name "Hikaru" is) is telling me that my whole story arc is wrong, by fiat of him (or her) saying so. Understandably, it rubbed me the wrong way. I was simply explaining my side. And "ninny" is a funny word. You can't fault me for my sense of humor. It's in some law some place. In fact, because I have a sense of humor, you're supposed to be on my side. That's how it works in every Robin Williams movie except Mrs. Doubtfire.
