She rolled over and her cheek touched the Deity Stone, causing a white flash. If the bright light hadn't been enough to wake her up, the sheer pain of her burned cheek would. She jumped out of bed screaming. "Dam!" She switched on the lights, hoping in vain ... yes, in vain. She saw herself in the mirror. Her cheek was burnt right thru. She knew her mom would bug her about how she got this, and not let her go out with her Goth friends. She turned around and looked at her bed. There was a rock that she had never seen before lying by her pillow. She put two and two together. "Fucking rock! It did this to me!" the Deity Stone ... Goddess of Darkness | |
