She saw that she was still wearing her black leotard and tights. Wait a minute, she thought. The device makes people this way, so I'm not really supposed to be a ballet dancer. It was really confusing for her, because the device changed her memories of her life, but she still remembered what the device's function was. She knew that she wasn't supposed to be this way, yet it's the only life she knew. She left the closet and looked at her watch.
