Sarah heard Jon's footsteps and looked up.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, with tearful eyes. She didn't want Jon (even as a vixen) to see her in this emotionally distraught state. It could ruin her image if anyone found out that she could fall apart so easily.

Jon saw that she wanted to be left alone, so he left and went back downstairs.

As Jon left, Sarah brought out the stone. Someone had hurt her feelings, and she was considering using the stone to get back at them.
