"I've been meaning to ask you," Karyn said. "Do you think that guys are hot?"

Paige didn't even hesitate. "Of course I do. I'm a girl." But then Paige remembered that she used to be a guy and the idea that she was attracted to boys now seemed weird. She made a funny face when she thought about that. "Actually ... um ... I'm not sure."

"Maybe we should make a wish to help you with that," Sarah suggested.

"No, Sarah. Don't change her any more," Karyn said.

"But, it'll help. I don't want Paige to feel uncomfortable around her date."

Karyn had totally forgotten about that. Paige would have to bring a guy with her to the prom. But who, exactly, would that be?
