His mom told her that he was upstairs, just like she usually did. It wasn't until Karyn was actually upstairs that Jon's mom realized that Karyn would find out what she had done with the wishing stone. "Jon? Where are you?" Karyn walked into Jon's bedroom (which was still a boy's bedroom, by the way). She saw him over by his closet. "Oh, Karyn. There you are. I was wondering if we could go to the mall. I seriously need to update my wardrobe. I've got, like, nothing but boyish clothes." Karyn was confused. "That's because you're a boy, Jon." "I know that. But I want to, like, wear girl's clothes." "Karyn!" Jon's mom yelled from behind. "I can explain." Karyn turned around and saw Jon's mother holding the wishing stone. She then realized that Jon's mom must have used the stone. | |
