Jon lifted up his head and smiled at Zoe. "It'll be my pleasure, my Dark Goddess." "Go, then." Jon stood up and left to go to the McMillan house, to fulfill his task. Zoe turned around, left Jon's bedroom, and went to visit her mother, who was still sleeping. "Mother, wake up," she whispered in her ear. Immediately, she awoke, eyes wide. She stared at the young woman who used to be her daughter. "Zoe?" she whispered. "You will be my servant." Suddenly, her mother's hair changed from brown to black and her tanned skin became pale. Her light pink nightgown also changed to black. She bowed before Zoe and said "What shall I do for you, my Dark Goddess?" "Oh, Jane. I have a very special task for you." Jane (Zoe's mother) smiled.
