Over the next few hours, Karyn and Jon agreed on how to handle the awesome power of the stone. They would each hold the stone for 2 weeks, then pass it back to the other. Neither were to use the stone except in an emergency, and never risk anyone else finding it. They considered wishing that this would happen, but the risks of a wish that could potentially take the stone out of their hands was too great a risk.
