"She's coming around. You okay?"

I heard Karyn's voice from the other side of the group of concerned zoo employees crouching around here. "Wh-where ... where am I?"

"The zoo. We were just talking about Jonni."

Karyn sounded confused. "Who? Who's Jonni? I ... I can't remember."

"Can you at least remember who you are?" asked the zoo employee.

Karyn looked like she was about to say something, then her face went blank. "I ... I can't remember that either. Do you know who I am?"

I couldn't believe it. Not only was I stuck as a female leopard giving birth, but Karyn had completely lost her memory. Without her to use the stone to fix all of this, what was I going to do?
