Karyn had done it enough times that her mother wouldn't question it, particularly with them living next door. Karyn couldn't understand why she was having so much trouble coming out to her mother about being a lesbian. Karyn knew that the longer she waited, the harder it would be to talk about it. She hadn't even told Jon and he was her best friend. If anyone would understand, it would be him.
