There was a flash of blinding green light, and suddenly Mikey was no longer in his bedroom, but instead somewhere totally foreign to him. "Jon, don't just stand there. Let's go," said a girl he recognized as his brother's best friend Karyn. He must have been at her house. He walked with her out to the street and then they walked to the mall. Karyn talked the whole time, but Mikey didn't say a word, which she noticed when they finally got to the mall. "What's with you, Jon? You haven't said anything since we left my house." | |
