In fact the only part of her that remains couch-like are her teeth, which on very close inspection by a dentist are brass button type pegs covered with dental type enamel, and this is as couch like as she ever needs to be to satisfy the wish that made her into a couch." The air became warm and then hot, and a loud grinding noise came from the stone... ...which then made another farting noise, and all indications of impending change vanished. A more heartfelt, "Dammit!" will never heard. When all else fails, punt. | |
