As Jon walked on stage his mind went blank and he quoted each word as if he had memorized it.

Sandy frowned watching Jon do his part. "Damn that Joan," she held the rock tight in her grip "ever since second grade she has stood out and out shined me for everything, Joan is pretty, and popular-" she countinued to ramble as Jon finshed and walked backstage past Sandy who was hidden behind the curtan, he caught just the tail end of her speech and caught "I wish..."
