The person now in possession of the stone was Jon's step-mother Carly. At first she was just going to borrow Jon's stone, but after she contemplated the stone's possibilities, she decided to keep it for herself. She was a far more responsible person than her step-son. It would be safer in her hands. But, as ahe would soon find out, no one can be completely responsible when it comes to using the wishing stone. | |
