An Adult With a Childlike MindEpisode submitted by Anonymous51 on Tue Apr 29 14:41:44 2008 Return to Parent Episode As they walked down the hall, Mikey opened the bathroom door. "Are you okay, Mikey?" his mom asked. "You were in there for quite a while." "I just had to go to the bathroom." Jon felt strange during their conversation, as he began to change once more. But what kind of person would he become? Clearly he couldn't be 10-years old and 40-years old at the same time. "Come on, Jon," his wife said slowly. Jon smiled and walked with her. He had trouble thinking, for some reason. "Time for din din." Why was she talking like that? Then it occurred to him. More slowly than normal, but it did eventually occur to him that he had become "mentally challenged". He may still have been an adult, but he had the mind of a child. Mikey walked alongside them as they walked downstairs. Jon continually hoped that Mikey would run off quickly after reaching the first floor. He didn't want to stay this way.
