Karyn walked up to Jon's house and rang the doorbell. A moment later, Jon's mom answered the door with a smile. "Hello, Karyn. If you're looking for Jon, he's not here right now. I think he's ..."

"I already know where he is. He sent me here to get something from his room."

"Oh, okay."

After Karyn was let in, she sprinted upstairs and into Jon's bedroom. Then she searched for the stone. It was exactly where Jon said it would be.

She was about to get it back to Jon, but then she thought about using it. Just a harmless wish or two. And since Jon wasn't in listening range of the wish, he wouldn't know that anything changed.

But, then again, Jon's predicament was a pressing issue. Her boyfriend seemed to be really upset about it. Maybe she should give the stone back to him. He did trust her to do the right thing.

What should she do?
