I just wanted to be sure you were happy. Will you let me in, now?" After a minute, Jessica [Jon] opened the door, still crying. She put her arms around Karyn, and cried on her shoulder for a minute or two. While she was doing that, Karyn held her as well, and kissed her head several times, murmuring that she was sorry. Then Karyn said, "I don't want you to change, I love you just the way you are". That brought Jessica's head up to face her. "You love me?" "Of course, I do, silly. I always have."
