Just then, they heard the key turning in the lock, and they both turned to look that way. In walked Jon's mom, back from going shopping. "What are you two doing?" she yelled as she saw their position. "I go out for a half hour to get some groceries, and come back to find you two making out in our living room?!? Jon, go get the groceries out of the car. Karyn, please go home now. I'll call your mother in a little bit." Then she noticed how tattered Karyn's shirt was, and turned to yell at Jon (who was already trying to hurry out the front door). "Jon, when you finish with the groceries, you're grounded for a month! I'm sorry, Karyn, dear. I didn't notice your shirt right away. Are you alright? Jon didn't hurt you, did he?" come upstairs, dear | |
