He didn't really react when Rebecca went in, but when he saw her companion, he jumped up. "Hi Kim," he said. "Did you still want to go dancing tonight?" At this, Rebecca just continued up the stairs to her room, shaking her head at Rick's transparency. Kim, on the other hand, said, "Yeah, that sounds great. Did we decide on where we were going?" Then, deciding that it looked like Rebecca had gotten far enough upstairs, said in a slightly lower voice, "Don't do that to me, man! You almost gave me a panic attack with that greeting."
