The school team was called the Pirates, but the thought of the ultra-preppy cheerleaders wearing actual pirate outfits was ridiculous. Suddenly, the side door opened, and blonde Brittany Newsome stuck her head out. "Avast, Jonnie!" she shouted, with a silly grin. "We're picking out our new costumes for the year.
