"Steve Farber's baby."

"Steve?" said Karyn. "Steve Farber on the football team?"

"Of course," said Jon. "The two of us have been together for a year now. He's so strong and handsome and spontaneous. I like him a lot, Karyn, and I think that he's a wonderful father for my baby. He has an artificial womb too, you know. Once football season ends, I'm getting him pregnant with my baby."

This was all too much for Karyn. Her best friend in a romantic relationship with one of the jocks? Having his baby? Getting his boyfriend pregnant? "Do you really like boys?" Karyn asked.

"After I got the implant," said Jon. "As I started getting female hormones pumping through my system, I started noticing guys in a way I hadn't before. I still like girls, but I'm really starting to think that I prefer boys."

"And you're fine with this?" asked Karyn.

"Of course I am," said Jon, hugging Karyn. "I really think that Steve's the guy I want to go through life with. Trust me, he's a lot nicer since he got a womb of his own."
