The walls, ceiling, and floor were all made of gray stainless steel. And besides the one window, there didn't seem to be any way to get out of the room. How was he supposed to leave if there was no door? He obviously wouldn't be able to leave through the window. He'd die instantly, since Mars didn't have an oxygen atmosphere. ------ Meanwhile, back on Earth, Karyn reached for the stone, which was left behind when Jon disappeared. As she did, she noticed that she had an engagement ring on her finger. "I wish I knew who I was engaged to." Suddenly, she knew. It was her boyfriend, the one that got her pregnant.
