"Did you bring it?" she asked. "Of course, I did," Jon answered, pulling the stone out of his pocket. "Can I use it? I know exactly what I want to wish for. I was thinking about it all last night." "Uh, I don't know, Karyn," Jon said. He was clearly hesitant. "After what happened yesterday ..." "That was an accident, Jon. I told you, I thought this one through." Jon shrugged his shoulders and handed the stone over. "Okay. But if you mess up again, I won't let you wish any more. At least not for a while." "I won't mess up."
