If he hurried, he could catch up with Karyn before she went inside. After parking his car in the school parking lot, he ran towards the entrance to the school. Immediately, he saw Karyn. She was being picked on by Sarah McMillan and her friends. "That bitch," Jon said. He was about to charge over and give Sarah a piece of his mind, but stopped when he saw someone else beating him to it. When he got closer, he saw that it was Derek Lettman. "The emo kid?" Jon said to himself. Except, he didn't really look much like an emo anymore. In fact, he looked pretty normal. "Leave her alone, you bitch," Derek said to Sarah, and then pushed her. "You can't do that to me!" Sarah yelled. "Come on, Derek," Karyn said. "Let's get out of here." The two of them walked away, as Sarah hurled her insults. "Yeah, that's right.
