The Maturity Stone: Emo JonEpisode submitted by Anonymous51 on Thu Jan 8 21:39:41 2009 Return to Parent Episode As the stone glowed, Jon became older once again, this time becoming 20-years old. He was now in his third year of college, or so he figured. After the wish was granted, he saw Karyn walking off towards the school. But she was alone. Where did Derek go? He turned around to go back to his car (seeing as there was no reason to be there anymore), but when he did a lock of long straight hair fell across his face. He grabbed it, looking at it. "What the hell?" "Hey, Jon. I thought you might be here." Jon turned around and saw Derek. But he was older. Maybe ... late teens? And this time, he seemed to be back to his usual emo self. "Man, high school couldn't have been that great for you," Derek said. "For me it was nothing but a fucking nightmare." Jon looked down at himself. He was dressed like an emo, and even his body had become lankier and paler. What Jon didn't know was that his wish made Derek older, so that they would be closer in age to be best friends. Derek wasn't emo in the previous reality because he met Karyn and they became friends. But in this new reality, Derek met Jon and they became friends, and in the process Derek's "emoness" must have rubbed off on Jon. But what else was different in this new reality?
