The old man discharged his weapon, causing Jon to flail backwards and fall on the floor. "That was a mistake, son," the man said, walking towards him. He bent over and grabbed the stone from Jon's hand. "No," Jon whimpered. The old man smiled, looking over the stone in his hand. "Never in my life did I ever think I would ever lay my hands on the Jewel of Cusco." Jon sat up as best he could. He was losing a lot of blood, and the old man did nothing to help him. There was nothing Jon could do. He was gonna die in some guy's vault; he didn't even know where. But then he got an idea. He had rubbed the lamp, meaning the genie could give him three wishes. He still had a chance! | |
